People Lose car Keys. How do You Lose a Plane?

Before I get into this, here are a few excerpts from media outlets.

“Flight MH370 vanished from civilian radar screens less than an hour after take-off from Kuala Lumpur for Beijing with 239 people – more than half Chinese nationals – on board on March 8………..”Malaysia Airlines deeply regrets that we have to assume beyond any reasonable doubt that MH370 has been lost and that none of those on board survived,” the airline said in a text message to the families, according to The Telegraph”.

“BEIJING — China has not held back in forcing the pace of the search for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. It has deployed 21 satellites and a flotilla of naval ships. It has dispatched investigators to Malaysia, run background checks on the Chinese passengers, and scoured radar images of its vast western regions. 

Every day it has cajoled, chided and criticized Malaysian officials. And still it has come up empty-handed. Two weeks after the plane vanished on an overnight flight to Beijing, no trace of the Boeing 777 jet or the 239 people on board , two-thirds of whom are Chinese, has been found”.

Okay readers may I inquire about something? We live in a world where we have smart phones with “apps” that can enable you do to virtually anything and everything with your phone, right? We’re in a society where we have On-Star, GPS where you can track a vehicle anywhere at anytime. We have Skype, a system that allows you can talk face to face on a computer. And even recently there have been talks about the implementation of RFID chips embedded in our skin used to ‘track’ young children and/or pets should go missing; and does anyone remember the phenomeon called Google Earth??  All this technological capability and we can’t find a missing plane?? I don’t know what exactly is going on here but this is retarded on so many levels.

This is not a single pilot plane carrying some cargo. This isn’t a helicopter. This is roughly a 70 foot Boeing plane that carried over 200 passengers, and it is lost without a trace?! Now there is some speculation as to where it went, but how in the world do you lose track of a plane that size? Seriously. Some conspiracy theorists have coined this as an ominous sign of things to come. Is it? I don’t know.

All I know is the fact that we have a plane 3/4 of the size of a football field vanishing without a trace. This is beyond mind boggling and befuddling.

What do you think happened or is happening here? Do you feel they are doing all they can in their search and investigation, or are they just as clueless about the plane’s disappearance as your neighborhood Milkman? Do you think the government knows more than they are letting on?
