Violence, drugs, dilapidated conditions, a sense of weird harmony among peers, liquor stores, all placed in the ghetto. There are teens plagued with this problem on a daily basis, yet many people fail to understand why they are the way they are. Folks often judge and talk about how easy it is to get out. For some it’s a mute possibility. For others it’s more daunting and eventually they may succumb to this cut throat life style. For those who enjoy pointing out the obvious, there will be sweeping generalizations, vacuuming assumptions, mopping presumptions and Swiffering aspersions made throughout this entire post. A dichotomy that is both essential and non-essential to the overall premise. Enjoy with three grains of salt. As the world turns, and as we meander through the days of our lives, we observe relationships in action every single day.
